hydroslide is a brand, and that brand makes "affordable" watertoys. I want to say that at one point, the parent company was kransco and at that time, they also dealt with skurfer. Anyhoo, they made Kneeboards for sure...for some reason, hydroslide the brand seemed dope in like 1990. I don't know a lot about their wakeskates, minus that "freeride" model, or whatever it was called. it was a plastic jobby that had velcro on it and it came with booties. i wanted one for my collection...

wow i had no idea of all that...i just had a bigass yellow kneeboard back in like the early nineties :p so gnar it had a kneestrap and retractable fins! now thats technology!

one time when i was out riding i fell and was swimming over to my skate and a boat full of douche bag-bro wakeboarders with lots of fox racing gear putted over to me and and said "brah, are you like wearing velcro shoes and stuff dude?". My only startled response was "fer sher party brah, right?"

moral of the story, I had forgotten about these velcro booties but dont think they knew they really existed.

(no direct disrespect for wakeboarding)
