wakeboard?

i my self started in 99, but once i danced with the beautiful wakeskate goddess I didnt care to go back much.

maybe two years. But i hardly ever wakeboard since i mostly wakeskate. It feels funny going from a wakeskate to a strapper, feels like you have training wheels on.

I kneeboarded then cut my kneeboard down into my skate i use today its GNARRRR

year 1 - only strap (didnt even know what wakeskating was)
year 2 - strap first half, got a skate, did it mabey a few times
year 3 - straped half and skated half
year 4 - straped only a few times skate mostly
NOW have not straped once this season and feel better than ever!! Wakeskate ONLY!....dont even want to put those dumb bindings on anymore...

thank you kyle41! I was nine years old and he let me use his skate, now its all i do. I never wakeboarded, except 4 a coupla times.

WAKEMan1, I think your parents are gonna hate me now that ive given you the wakeskate bug.

I started wakeboarding all the way back in 97. I broke my ankle around 2004 skateboarding and could never get my foot in the binding without a tremendous pain shooting through my ankle. I started wakeskating more and more and never looked back. I have strapped maybe a hand ful of times since just to see if i can still do any of the crap I used to. I strapped at owc a lil while ago and landed tantrums and 3s off the kicker first try. Strapping is just not challenging enough and the feeling of freedom is really lacking.

the day i got up on a wakeboard was the same day i rode my first skate...did it that one and only time....i dont like the feeling up being locked up...my feet need to be freeee!

To be honest i've strapped maybe once or twice a season just for shits. But it's at the point now that my progression in wakeskating has overridden everything i knew in wakeboarding so i suck like... REALLY bad. To the point where it's not fun at all anymore. I honestly think i can ollie higher on a skate now Rolling Eyes
