So I'm not trying to hate here but, I was reading the new alliance wakeskate and Kyle Walton is totally hating on anything but winching yet the first photo in his interview is a w2w tail grab. The rest seems to be winched but I thought it to be funny. What about you?

I dont think he was hating on PWC or Boat, he was just talking about the standerd rich ass wakebooarding kids being spoiled and not enjoying what they have, when walton is homeless and lives it up and rides whatever he can, let it be boat, pwc or winch. I think he just perfers winching. Hell id love to be winchinig some of the shizzle he has hit up. so sick.

I thought the same thing bout his interview and the w2w picture. Contradiction? Hmm. However, i totally think that kw is taking wakeskating in a direction that is unattainable by others. I support him.

Ps- i would buy a pair of the crocs that he rags on!

i think kyle walton is soo real! he speaks his mind and is addressing some issues and not afraid of what ppl think.. that is soo rad he is really pushing the sport in the right direction saying you don't need that $80,000 boat to have fun you just have to be riding Birthday Birthday

How do you think Walton got so good? You think he learned to stick all his tricks behind a winch...I bet he learned behind a boat or PWC...and if he did get that good just behind a winch then more props to him, but I bet he's had substantial time behind something expensive.

no one wants to just skate curbs all day long (jet ski wakes). get a winch and SEEK OUT

but yes, no one learns to frontside flip down 6 foot drops. they learn em off curbs first Smile

it's all about how you look at it. You can do flats stuff, lip tricks, inside out stuff--there's more variety than a strict "curb" mentality. When I first rode behind a PWC for the first time..., I had a blast because it was a new kind of freedom...it felt way different than my boat (which by the way, is only worth 1000.00). Ultimately, the continuious ride is what's appealing. Winching is rad, but it will never wipe out boats or PWCs.

true...continuous ride i never thought of that. it does kind of stink when you're out winching for 5 hours and only get like 10 pulls
