The Moment

Today I was in Drama Class. Our teacher told us to lie down on our backs. She asked us to picture a moment in time where you are truely happy. Some where you can be alone and not let the problems of the world bother you. For that moment i sat and relfected upon my self. I closed my eyes and pictured myself riding on my skate. Just riding. Not even doing tricks. Looking at the sun as it sets into the horizon. The pink and yellow sky shimmer across the dead calm lake. My reflection in the water as i carve out really hard and i can see my face. Then carving in and slashing the wake. In my mind. I slow down and stare at the water as it shoots up the side of the wake and falls back down into the water. Its times like these where you can just go WOW. I call this a "Holy shizzle Moment". When you get back in on the boat your favourtie song plays and you watch the sun set as the night grows darker and darker. I explained this to the class and they were in awe. They dont quite understand but i think they could see where i was coming from. Wakeskating isnt always about landing new tricks. Its about being with friends, being happy and enjoying life.

it'd be so funny if you finished your story, and everyone just started laughing their ass off at your little dream... including the teachers, but she's trying to act like she's not

i don't know why but i imagine it in my head and everytime it is hilarious
