35 HP is it enough

i just found a 15' fiberglass jon boat... with a 35HP evinrude... is that enough to pull a skater??

i think i remember lemmon's whip had a 25hp...

any thoughts?

Lemons' whip is a 25hp Yamaha on a 15' bateau.

35 hp will be able to handle you, your driver and one observer, unless anyone is over 200 lbs.

dude thats plently... but it depends on how tuned your engine is... prop size, and how it's set up.. but yea.. it should work for sure... i think my boat is 16 foot with a 25, got a tower on it now. Laughing

i gotta get a tower set up like yours... it's soo baller.

but unlike yours mine has controls at the helm... instead of back at the outboard..

t-Rex, yesterday some rednecks were freaking out about my boat... he was taking pictures and everything, talking about how they dont sale that engine anymore and all the rednecks want it cause it lasts forever.. its sick tho we got board racks on both sides of the tower and an big mirror so you dont need a third person.. its sick

i can pull people that weigh 200 lbs that know what there doing no problem with a 13 ft whaler, just put some weight in the front so it gets on a plane easy.

When I weighed 210, I got up behind a 15 horse... but only on my lemons. I couldn't get up on the Deuce or Karma.

i went out yesterday... but only by myself... it has a top speed of 25.... Confused

i skate at 20-21 but i wonder if it'll do that with rider in tow... lol
