Wakeskate 08 Europe

Hey kids....I need your help. I'm looking to put together a wakeskate trip across the pond for next summer. I would like to bring my crew, cameras, skates and such over for about two weeks. Basically I want to know what countries have killer lakes and killer wakeskate communities.

The trip would be in late August. We are planning on renting a van, but we will need floors to crash on and skis/boats/winches to ride behind. Reply through this message or at these locations.

If you really want to have a blast in Europe don't try and concentrate too much on boats or jetskis. European boarding is very much a cable boarding scene.

If you want to see some kick-ass wakeskating you might want to check out Magdeburg, Schwandorf or Duisburg-Wedau in Germany and definitely Fonchy-cable and Toulouse Sesquieres in France. Germany is your safest bet as we have a lot(!) of cables here. Basically two weeks is gonna eat a lot of money if you want to be doing two countries in such short time...

sparrow.2, well said! that sums it up pretty much. xbrettxmartinx, it's all about cable riding in europe!!! in terms of choosing which cable to go to in germany visit wasserski.de. they have all the links to them cables. wakeskate mekkas in germany are definately Duisburg-Wedau, Schwandorf, Berlin and Magdeburg...

K'jellman is dead right. It's not all about cable riding in Europe. (excluded Germany) there are many wakeboats in Portugal, Spain, France, UK, etc. If you visit Sweden you can choose riding boat, pwc or winch. They also have cables with lots of rails and kickers in Norway and Denmark. (not to mention all of our pretty girls in Scandinavia, worth a visit in the summer for sure...)

There are also ruffly around ten other places (lakes) where you can ride behind a boat or a jetsky. If you want to come and visit our spot in Sardinia, Italy. We ride from feb, march up to late november.
