So as most of you know, I just got a Catalyst and I got to try it out this weekend. Here is what i think about it.

Wakeskating is fun, and it's awesome how easy the fins lose traction and don't catch. I did a few quick slides.

It's really different, and new, so i don't have the comfort on a wake skate that i would on a wakeboard, which i hope riding around will be natural at one point.

Jumping a wake must be hard as hell, because like i said, i could ride around good, but it always felt so loose to me. That being said, my wakeboard is a 3ds with the stock 1.1's in, so that might be why it feels so damn loose.

So I guess i liked it, but it was different than a wakeboard, but much more relaxing to be able to throw water everywhere and do slides, as well as just ride around

Now, the thing to remember is that i was behind a Sea Doo, and a 15 hp jon boat, so it wasn't the best of conditions.

Also, one or two questions..
What are the position of your feet supposed to be when riding? Just centered like normal?

What's the best way to move your feet while riding? I would pivot on my heels and then toes to move them because i felt like i would lose it if i brought them off the board.

Your from the wakeboarder fourms i recgonize the name. Have one foot right at the back for riding. It will help you alot. Plus your riding the most wakeboard like wakeskate on the market right now.

Try riding it with no fins. Then try riding a good wood board with no channels on the bottom also without fins. It will drastically improve your edging.

Personally I have always loved the top of the catalyst but just don't like the channels and sharper edges....makes for a too locked in feeling IMO.

NotSoBueno,
It's anything but locked in for me.. I want to get some more fins on it.. but i know better than that. I pretty much am happy how it is. I'll wait a bit to try anything else.

Sea Doo is perfect. vSpread your feet apart so they get really close almost inside the kick tails. You got that shizzle all day son.
