not wakeskating?

Has anyone been staying out of the hot water lately do to amoebas? I realy wanna go wakeskating today at owc but i also dont wanna die Shocked

Should I risk it..

im pretty sure you have to take your tampon out before you ride at odub for health reasons

Seriously though, if you go out and all you think about is amoebas going in your brain, it's probably going to happen. If your entire conciousness is focused on the thought of you dying from amoebas, guess what, you're probably going to.

If you go out like a normal day and maybe try not to get as much water in your nose, you'll be fine.

I have been kinda worried tho. But i love skating so much i get over it and have a great time every time.

methodmikey, thats right up there with the video of people draining boils and shizzle, so gross but you cant stop watching. on my last day on the water, it was probably the coldest the lake has been all summer, it was freezing

i was in the water at OWC all weekend, and so were a ton of other people, including younger kids, and we are all still alive.

seriously, unless you are an infant, or just have the weakest health known to man, you arent going to be affected by these things.

haha my mom has freaked cause she is a nurse. but you know haw many people have been in lakes and haven't died. You have a greater chance of breaking your leg than gettin killed by amebas
