Aaron Reed Pro 41" or HL Gate???????????

Checking out some new boards for next season. I've always prefered Cassette since their first model came out (R.I.P. LF Sponge) Last season I was stoked on the 4-track and I liked it a lot, but I'm getting kind of interested in how the Gate is.... Reeds upcoming 41" 4-track seemes like a killer but please, give me some feedback on the Gate if you have tried it. The Gate seems like a big board at 114cm. How's the new kicktail? I heard some rumors that some HL pros didn't like it...... I'll probably stick with Cassette (not LF in my lifetime!) but it would be interesting getting some feedback from you guys who have tried the Gate. thanks... Mr T

My pros:

easier to do ollies
easier landings on wake to wake(very forgiving)
in choppy water and rollers i can stay on the board
easier to get up on upon takeoff
can ride w/without shoes eva top feels nice
definately will last longer than a wood board

My cons:

sometimes the kicktails will catch on surface tricks if i dont stand right
doesnt fit in my wakeboard rack( but my cassette doesnt either )
maybe a little to thick
has a wakeboard feel(may or may not be a con to you)

i would get the cassette, i would just prefer it, also the with/without shoes could be used on the cassette too if u got foam top

the gate is from 2004. its old. i used to have one and it was ok.

I am have had a Gate since they came out. It is what I have been riding since. I hate it. Can't wait for the SST though, Finally getting a new board

Now adays, if you had to choose between an 03 4trac and an 04 Gate, what would it be?.....That's what I thought.
