Found a Ski

Ski is a 2001 Yamaha GP1200R. I found one being sold in Georgia for $1500....i check the msrp pricing of it and they are $8400 new. Is this too good to be true? I've emailed the owner a few times and they said it has about 17 hours on it and are selling it for cheap because they really need the money. I mean if you really need money, $1500 isn't that much to get you anywhere. The registration on the Ski say NY and its in Georgia. Alot of misleading information if you ask me. Found it on a website called everyboat.com, is this a legit site?

the owner sent me pics the other day of every angle of the jet ski. speedometer, engine, body, back end. everything looks brand new. the deal might be going down tonight whether im buying it or not

I've been talking to this guy who supposeably had a 2001 Yamaha gp1200r for $1500 for that past week and its starting to turn out to be more and more of a scam the more I talk to this guy. He won't give the number I can contact him at or the number of the local yamaha dealer where I can get the ski checked out before I buy it. He sounds way too anxious to sell it and is asking for all my info lol. What a noob scam. Turns out it was too good to be true. Rolling Eyes

Anyways, where's the best place to look online or in Orlando for a used Ski?

Damn. I may end up only having $2500 to spend tops. Think I can get a good ski that will last me for that amount? Any recomendations of makes and models? I'm thinking Yamaha...2004 xl700
