Alright so my family has picked up a lead on an amazing boating steal. We currently have a 16 ft '97 Euroline with a 135 Mercury Mariner outboard motor and it runs like a top, except at high speeds (it likes to skip when cornering). Anyway, a close friend is selling a 21 ft '93 Rivera GD Invader tri-hull with a Ford Cobra 5.0 250 hp inboard engine with a full bumpin' stereo and a trailer for less than $6000. My question is: Will this boat be able to pull skiers, wakeboarders, wakeskaters and tubers with ease and how sick is the wake for jumping? I've heard negative connotations with tri-hull boats about something called "soft water wakes" which evidently makes inside-wake riding horrible. It is considered more of a "deck/party" boat, but although that is true, I thought it might have some great potential and even if it doesn't, we could bring it up to our lake/boating community and sell it for much more and possibly make some money off this...
So, is it worth it? |
