I purchased a deck from him, he said was emailing a tracking number, he has yet to respond to any emails I have sent which was a few weeks ago.

I have been posting, sending, selling and trading gear for years. I have never had this happen before.

I guess the small community of skaters has to grown to the point where that mutual respect for one another has disappeared.

I hope he has just been real busy and will or has already shipped the deck.

provin1327, This is the first time I did not use paypal ( and yes I feel like an idiot already). I will never buy or trade without using paypal again.

I have done deals like this for years and never got burned. 170.

I do know a bunch of people that live near his house, a few have offered to go over and get my deck for me. I am just not interested in getting my friends involved yet.

WAKEMan1, I sent it at the end of June, check cashed early July.

On the 9th he said he would have a tracking number for me and it was sent. After that, I have not received any responses or the deck.

I wish I would have seen the thread earlier about him not paying on the fins.

I knew I was taking a risk, but I really believed him and have never been burned before.

In fact, every deal I have done in the wake community has been solid.

Again, I have faith he will send it. I would like it before the end of the season.

This is all my fault and I can only blame myself. But once in a while you trust people until you get burned and then go back into the shell and trust nobody.

a feed back system can be abused, i have thought about it and can not really find a fair way for it to work for everyone. And the mods I am sure do not want to mod that thread.

i made the mistake by not using paypal plain and simple. had i done that, this would not be an issue. so giong forward just use paypal and don't worry.
