Byerly fully skating?

I have not seen Byerly wakeboard much anymore, most of all the new pics of him that I see is him wakeskating, and I read an interview of him in wakeboarding mag and he said the last time he wakeboarded was in august on the welcome video and I`m sure that was because he had to get pics of him on his wakeboard for the hyperlite catalog. I think hes going to stop boarding if he hasnt already and fully wakeskate. Does anyone know anything about this if its true or not?

he has to board in order to have a pro model, and thats where most of the money comes from

yeah but he also has his own skate out...so he could be winding down on the wakeboarding and starting on the skate more. I have no clue what he is doing but just because he has a pro-model board right now doesn't mean that he can't focus on skating.

u guys also have to realize that byerly isnt getting any younger. im not sure how old he is(mid 30's) but wakeboarding is very stressful on your body especially when you've been riding for like 15 years...just look at parks, hes 22ish and both his knees are shot, theres just so much impact from on your body from wakeboarding. wakeskating is alot easier on you, im sure most of u wakeboard too and know that the falls on the skate arent as painful(unless u do the splits Sad

I think he ment that the last time he "wake"boarded was in the filming of welcome.. I'm pretty sure he still slides on his wakeboard at the projects

I agree with you stompin9s. I started wakeboarding when I was 12... now I'm 22 and I can really feel the affects of it in my left knee. Anymore, when I run I feel like my knee is gonna explode. Thats part of the reason I started wakeskating. I also heard byerly has had a knee and arm injury in the recent past... i'm sure thats part of it. And byerly is always into progressing the newest thing too.

i think byerly said that he is gonna compete at all the pro stops this year, so I think he is devoting way more time wakeskating, just look at the videos, in Blacklist he rides the skate almost the whole time, except for the the fat bar rail thing, and in all or nothing he does some wakeboarding stuff but it seems like the main focus is on his wakeskating, i do think his arm is shot and his ankles and knees are going to
