Me and some friends builded this road gap rail today. Two small lakes and a 16 feet wide road in between. Located just outside Stockholm/Sweden. Picture of me hitting it frontside. Temperature in the water was 42 degrees Fahrenheit. Pretty cold.........

im planning on donig a road gap, im just saving up money... its in this neighborhood near my house. theres a canal and a small bridge that goes over it. im gonig to build a launch ramp or im going to have another launch ramp at the end for something to come down. im not sure if that will work though. its still all in my head. but im going to do it soon before i move.

thanks... I'm not fully satisfied with the picture though. Will get a real photographer out next time with some real equipment and hopefully get some better quality.

Sick pick man. Nice to see you're starting the season early. We're going to try a road gap just north of Toronto, Canada. Its a ditch with water along the side of a road, then a driveway. Only about a car or more wide, but it will be fun. Love that pic again, good to see people out killing it...making me jealous.

Patrick Quinn, if there's someone to be jealous of then it's all people who can ride 12 months a year.... Smile

Ouch! That really sucks... Sorry for your friend. But at least he got the balls to hit that infamous rail.
I broke my ankle a few years ago playing soccer. It took me like 3-4 months to recover. So, I hope your friend will be OK for the second part of the season. BTW, how long is the season in Sweden? May-October like here in Switzerland?

Paul, more like april until october or as long as there's no ice... Usually we have to ride in a drysuit in april-may and september-october. I visited my friend Erik today just after he had 4 (!!!) hours of surgery!!! He's got 17 spikes in his leg and ankle, sick... Hopefully he will be able to ride late july. He has just ordered some new stuff from buywake (board, shoes etc) which he can't use now, so it sucks! Guess he's the nr 1 boatdriver this season. I will upload some pics of the accident this week, pretty spectacular............
