|
|
Been using the same Straightline Amoeba handle for years, and it's getting pretty torn up, so I'm considering getting a new one. The carbon fiber type handles look cool, but they're expensive, and I've heard they can break & sometimes don't float very well. I do like the look of some of the ones that are rounded at the corners for handle passes.
Any suggestions? _________________ Life is short - live every day to its fullest. |

| carbon fiber handles are too overpriced and completely unnecessary. Any handle is adequate for handle passes. I had a carbon fiber handle before and used it until the thing smacked me in the face and split open my lip. Plus they wear out kinda fast. I have the '05 byerly handle and love it. Check out some of the new handles that are out there before buying a carbon fiber because they suck. |

| I have the Accurate Catalyst handle and love it. Been using it for 2 seasons and the grip is still great. Floats good and I like it for handle passes. |

I don't think the handle makes a huge difference in your riding or anything. I just want something that will perform well if I'm gonna buy one anyway. _________________ Life is short - live every day to its fullest. |

I've got a Straightline carbon handle w/ the Amoeba grip at my shop if you like the Amoeba style of grip and wanna go for a carbon handle...
I'm a huge fan of Straightline's A.R.I handles. They're as light as carbon at half the cost...and you get to choose which grip style you want.
Accurate makes solid stuff, too. I like the Premier handle...but I still miss the churro shaped one! _________________ facebook.com/TheLiquidPlayground
