I come from a slalom back ground and still do some times...my dad still is an avid slalomer. So with that said all we have in the boat are ski ropes. So what I'm asking would it be worth the investment to get an actual wakeboard rope?? Is there a big difference between ridding with a ski rope and a wakeboard rope?? I know that the ski ropes stretches, but does that effect my riding enough that I should get a wakeboard rope??

WHen you cut into the wake the roap will be streched right out... but in the air it will spring back pulling you off balance.

yea I never realized how big of a difference it made till I got my non stretch, even there i didn't notice that much because I got it during the off season, and then started using it, so I hadn't used the stretchy one for along time. then one day I forgot my rope in the car on a friends boat, and we tried it with the stretchy rope, then went back and got the nonstretchy rope, and it was a huge difference

Accurate Fire Jacket, super good cause its no strectch and it's closed cell neoprene(literally has rubber around the rope) so it never tangles and floats really well
