k so after startign to assemble i realized that the pillow block that i bought has the black ring to stop the axle from sliding throuhg but the ring is missing the like allen key thing to lock it to the axle. doesn anyone know where i can buy one or do i have to buy a new pillow block

You might be able to find one the right size at tractor supply and/or northern equipment. Just bring it with you and ask, they should know what they do and don't have.

in the uk its called a grub screw or set screw

any hardware shop should have them and it will be cheaper than buying a new pillow block
