The engine itself would be fine, just be sure to ask the seller what kind of crankshaft it has or it will make getting a clutch forit impossible. you want to be looking for a 3/4" (19.05mm) or 20mm output shaft. If you want to use a TAV or a centrifugal clutch they come in 3/4" and the little Honda gearboxes with oil clutch come in 20mm flavour Very Happy

Check out www.winchskating.com and www.wakeboarding-winch.com for more info.

Good luck with the winch!!!

dalesk8, The clutch should work fine, just make sure you get an engine with an output shaft that will fit the clutch and also make sure you get a fitting chain and spool axle gear. It seems a bit expensive really but we get ripped off on those here in germany as well...

Good luck Very Happy

Seriously?!?!?!

How about ones thet will fit your 30mm axle??? They come marked with the inner diameter of the bearing, which would then be your axle diameter...

Feel free to say "DOH" Very Happy

Put up some pics if you have any....
