Saw this pic, if anyone doenst know what sfumato is:
Sfumato is the Italian term for a painting technique which overlays translucent layers of colour to create perceptions of depth, volume and form. In particular, it refers to the blending of colours or tones so subtly that there is no perceptible transition.
that is the perfect picture to describe it.

I guess I'm just confused what an upside down photograph of a lake has to do with the sfumato style of painting and how in any way it would relate to the Mona Lisa as the epitome of the sfumato style.
Guess thats just me though.
It's is a good shot however.
