eh, well This is the first summer that ive been balls to the wall with my lake sports, before this summer its all been pretty casual, last summer i got most of the basics with wakeskating, like geting up and edging lipslides, the ollie, this summer i started trying tricks, and ive got the Fs 180, a sketchy backside 180, I/Os and im now working on Shuvs, as far as the strapping goes, ive been doing that on and off for a few years, never really tried to progress, but this summer ive really imroved on the w2ws, got the flats spins down pretty well, and am now working on wake to wake spins, ( i really didnt start trying to progress on strapping up until about 2 weeks ago) i think that its probably easier to progress with strapping, its easier to get lots of air, and after that its all just learing where to grab and spining,
wakeskatin on the other hand takes some skill and serious technique to learn new tricks (thats alot of typing) _________________ I run show where ever I go. |

i started wakeskating when the only thing left to rent at owc was a trick ski without bindings. I took it, rode it, loved it. Then i found out that there was a sport that was very similar to my getto version of passing summer days called "wakeskating"
Thus one of the greatest things i have ever done is born. WAKESK8 4 LIFE! |

i've been skateboarding for 12 years.. not all that good.. but one day i was out on the bay just chilling with some friends on their boat and saw some guy just messing around on a wakeskate and was just like i need that.. sense then i've been hooked... now i'm riding on my own homemade board.. it's amazing just the feeling of riding on something you made.. the ride only feels more natural _________________ Wake it up.. |

I wakeboarded on and off for a few years then got introduced by a friend to a little known thing called wakeskating. for a while my cousins and i rode all we could behind that boat as a makeshift wakesate, anything from skimboards to homemade flat decks to 2x4s haha. then we eventually got ourr hands on a real deck and started shredding. havent really gone back singce _________________

I first started wakeboarding, liked it but it wasn't rally my thing....someone introduced me to wakeskating, but I couldn't find a big enough skate. Played around on a gripped childrenswakeboard for a year, than I built my own.....totally hooked now and I agree with pattielipp, riding your own is the best feeling _________________ Never winch in shallow water.... |

I went from skateboarding to wakeboarding because I couldn't afford to sit in the office with bleeding cuts and grazes anymore. Then I broke both legs two years back and couldn't get my foot into bindings because of the metal plates in my leg and a friend gave me his wakeskate to try.
Basically love at first ride Sold all of my wakeboarding stuff and got an 06 Impulse which fell to bits way too quick and am now riding a Mutiny Endurance 40,5 which I love dearly!
I'm currently taking a sabbatical from work and do nothing but wakeskate all day every day!!! Life is good |

| I started to skateboard when I was 14....almost injured my nuts and chipped my teeth. stopped for a year or two....though once in a blue moon i would take it out and ride in the neighbourhood and got caught and released a few time. Wakeboard for 2 year on and off, ain't that good then got introduced into wakeskating. I got hooked coz it's very similar to skateboard and at least face plant isn't as hard as concrete...though it still might happens if the board hit yer head hard enough. LOL. Who knows...anything might happens. hahaz |

Dude I'm far from pro I just skate for the fun of it!
The sabbatical just kinda came in handy to skate all day and sorta run away from being 30 soon
It is pretty nice right now because I live right next to a cable near to Cologne in Germany
I'm off to skate now, the cable only opens for like 11 hours a day |
