| So I've been wakeboarding for over 4 years now, pretty decent at it, however my shoulders are both boned and flying 8 ft in the air was definitely not helping them. Decided to take it a bit easier and give wakeskating a shot. Went out to the local shop, picked up a Hyperlite Catalyst 2.0 after a recommendation from the dude working there...went out today and wow. So I took the chance of dropping change so I had to try it. Its SO much different, its amazing. I can't explain the feeling. I went back to try on my wakeboard for shits and giggles afterwards and I felt so....constricted and the board was so heavy. Don't get me wrong, its exhilarating flying in the air, being able to catch 3.5 ft of air just by ollying, but wakeskating is such a different feeling. I did a few surface tricks, learned to olly, and wow its much different than ollying on a wakeboard thats for sure. Anyway, just expressing my enthusiasm for the sport. I'm looking forward to enjoying it. |

dude im so stoked for ya! keep the riding up, same thing happend to alotta guys on this site, wakeboard for a few years then, you pick up wakeskateing... and YOUR HOOKED. its soooo muhc more fun and COMPLETLY different.  |
