POP ART WAKESKATE DESIGN

so i'm kind of an artist on the side and i designed a few graphics for some skateboard decks and this local skate shop is thinking about backing me on designing some boards for them but i need your help. would you guys buy a board if it had designs like these...?

i can change the backgrounds too... these are just ideas... see my other thread in the skateboarding section:

i also just designed a wakeskate with similar graphics today... what d'ya think? if any companies wanna put this on a board let me know! :]

I think Id like it more if it were more like the skateboard without the black dots in the stripes. maybe a different color too i dono just my opinion

i think it looks great, i always like black & white stuff. Try doing something with 3 boards, artwork spread across, each still holding there own. just an idea...keep it up!! Very Happy

i would deffantly ride a wakeskate with those graphics.. as for a skateboard probably not because i really only ride blanks.. the graphics get messed up to fast and i just don't see the point of artwork if it's only going to be there for a few days.. on a wakeskat ei'd deffantly ride it.. sick grapohics... and they don't get real worn on a wakeskate unless your riding some crazy rails..

tyson, haha actually my friend silk screened a t-shirt with it on it. it was pretty sick. funny you said that b/c it did cross my mind Laughing

Shore Drive, yeah i might do something like that. it would be cool if i could put them all together and have some design or something carry on to the next making them like all one connecting picture each with unique designs and symbols or something. awesome! thanks for the ideas!

aceofdymondz, There's two things that I would do to improve it. On the skateboard graphic, there are more stripes with less space in between. If there were more, thinner stripes on the wakeskate i think it would look a little better. Second, i'd get rid of the dot pattern in every other white stripe. The beauty of black and white is simplicity Wink
