i have a cheap dean playmate(gets me by, sounds fairly nice) i mostly play with the flemanco/slap styles

i've been kinda looking for some jazzy tunes to play, so if youve got any, post up

I dont know about Jazzy, but some of the most fun unique and rewarding bass music I have ever learned to play is Tool

been playing for....seven or eight years now. love it all. ibanez 5 string soundgear thru a 400 watt peavey.

When you say Jazzy are you meaning actual Jazz or just something cool.

Jazz- Paul Laurence, used to play with Miles Davis. Sick bassist.

If you are going for technical, nothing, no one, beats Les Claypool.

Check out NoMeansNo they don't sound like Primus but they are another band where the bassist and drummer really stand out.

I've been playing for about 5 yrs now. Have a 5 string Ibanez through an older Ampeg set up. It's a 4x10 and 1x15 enclosure. It's sick and is great for shows.

kento911, Tool is one of my favorite bands and some of Justins bass lines are amazing.

Also you guys should check out Nuclear Rabbit and their bassist Jean Baudin.
