cenflskate, are you really good with editing? if not i'd just go with final cut express, its only $300 brand new while final cut 2 is like $1200ish...

plus at apple at i think the top right you can just say that you are in a college and you get it like half off

yeah you can get student discounts.. i got my studio bundle for free so I wouldn't know about final cut, haha. but i know i got like 100 off my computer and 100 off the warranty..

ive taken like 3 yrs in media production so far....im pretty sharp with final cut...i can get fcp 5 for free....my gf's mom is the media teacher, lol, but i gotta wait til they get back to get it......few days
