Depends on the cut, but almost ALWAYS eat Very Rare. That is the only way to eat Steak. Nicely marinated with seasoning and salt, grilled under extreme heat for 40 seconds or so on each side.
I eat a good rare steak once or twice a week. Love it!!

As said above it depends on the thickness and whatever cut it may be, but, pretty much I just sear it on both sides and maybe couple more minutes on low heat.
