couple days ago i bought a 2006 hyperlite karma 111. Whats your take on the board? I know they stopped making them but does anybody ride it or has anybody ridden it? im 5'10 and 135lbs. any other board suggestions? skill level-beginner/intermediate

The board pops, just watch footage of BT on one, but the edge of that board sucks, always catches during your tricks. And the legacy feels like riding with bricks attached to your feet, its just way to sluggish. If your gonna buy hyperlite go with the catalyst 2.0, it's the old byerly and has a good feel for the water.

| the karma is just a newer version of the gate. They have some serious pop, but thats about it. |
