No, that's called slipping out. Either that or getting on a backside lip leaned over the toes. That's a perfectly timed shot.

The rider is Aaron Reed. Because it is a still shot, I can't tell exactly what the trick is. But, it looks to me like it was snapped while the rider was going into a backside lipslide or frontside boardslide and it gives a "toe press" appearance. I'm not sure I even know what a toe press is, I'm just assuming that the actual trick is related to the name??

toepresses don't exist...that was either a front board or a back lip (probably gone wrong-HA). It's kind of a cool pic though.

probably he's doing a bs shifty off the wake behind the rail. just ended up at the same height of the rail so it looked like he was sliding it.

I don't think photoshop was used at all...Its just an illusion of the camera in Che Blanc's photo...plue he makes no attempt to say hes goin off the rail...he just points out that people think that his dad is hitting the rail and he labeled the picture as an attempt at a 360...so why photoshop??

if i were going to photoshop it u would think that i would take out the water trail from behind the kicker or even take out the kicker all together... no its not photoshopped, but if anyone wants to photoshop it to make it look like hes hittin the rail by takin out the kicker and stuff, feel free. just send it to me when ur done

what do you mean? You can tell the rider was pasted on the picture of a rail from a different picture of him doing a w2w shifty. I'm confused why no one else is seeing this! (The picture on the top of the page from the original post on this topic)
