the hampson, without a doubt. better construction and youre a little big for a 40, plus in my opinion the hampson has a better shape to it.

Maybe this is a dumb question but I thought that the Reed, Hampson, and the Walton were all the same board just different lengths. Are the different shapes and weights as well?

I am about your same size bro, and i got the 42 reed. Plus I got big feet and that board is wider so something to look at. For me bigger was better cuz i ride a lot of big wakes, all my friends are strappers so it makes for a fun time on a skate. If you ride behind a wakeboard boat go with the 42, other than that go with the 41, most wakeskaters are smaller than us, so I try to ride the bigger boards for that reason

Bustamove, from what I was told at the boat show the Walton's were finished first before the Reed's and the Hampson's. I believe Reed is even riding a Walton in some parts of the Truth. So it would make sense if they were done first and Hampson's board was not finished for the catalog shoot that he would ride the Walton. I could be wrong but that is how the LF guys at the boat show were talking
