i have the kyle walton 40..and i have ridden the reed 42...the shapes to varry somewhat, the 40 is a bit heavier thats why i like it, the reed is wider, so its really your preference, im not sure about the 41 _________________ "Well it's like, if you want to be a better wakeskater, you don't go hang out with a bunch of roller bladers." - David Hanson |

bryanbryanbb08, it shouldnt matter too much at all. Its an inch difference. I would say go with whichever one you think looks cooler. _________________ Some people make birdhouses, some people knit sweaters. I star in high-quality pornographic films. To each his own... |

How tall are you and how much do you weigh. If you are over 160 I'd say go 42'', IMO.
Win win either way. _________________ dbanana wrote:

Everyone should follow this advice when picking their skates out. Who cares about it's features/how it rides/if it suites your style. Just ride something because it looks cool........Genious! _________________

wakeboarderdave, if you read the post you wouldnt make such ignorant comments. Im not an idiot i know graphics have nothing to do with it. He is stuck between two skates and really and inch doesnt matter that much so i was just giving my opinion on which one looked cooler. Next time read the post before you run your mouth off. _________________ Some people make birdhouses, some people knit sweaters. I star in high-quality pornographic films. To each his own... |

No worries man, no offense was taking. I was just stating that choosing a board based on it's graphics is the worst way to go. _________________

I'm about the same size as you, and I have ridden all 3. I loved the feel of them all, but the Reed felt most comfy for me. Shoe size can also make a difference in your choice of board. The Reed is a little wider than the Hampson, which is why I love mine. It sounds crazy, but that one little measurement between 41 and 42 makes them ride differently too. Try to demo if you can. _________________ www.kcwatersports.com |

An inch does make a difference.. the boards are different. if you got big feet and want a wider, more forgivable board.. get the reed. ive heard good things about the pop on the new walton..but it is a bit heavier than the previous impulses..heavier is sometimes better though..i personally like boards from the 39.75-41 range but im skinny and rock a size 11 shoe
either way you cant go wrong with the 07 line.. solid decks..but def try to demo one if you can |

How long will it be before the posts start up with everyone talking about how their lf skate has hairline cracks, or delammed or just broke?
LF is part of the problem...not the solution.
