hey whaddup...im just starting to prepare for some shooting for this seasons vid (this season meaning the summer in canada)...and i was wondering what any of you felt about shooting the vid in widescreen or if i should just stick to a standard 4:3 mode as opposed to a widescreen 16:9....anyways any help would be appreciated...thanks

| deff 16:9!!! looks so much nicer. i work for a television studio/production company and we are in the means to converting everything to 16:9 hd so its the future...do it>> but its your vid not mine so ultimately do what you want. |

| it does that if you watch the vid on a 4:3 tv but most if not all of the new lcd or plasmas are not 4:3. you could go out and shoot a little of both, then see how the footy looks, might look better on the water in 4:3, never know. |

also, make sure your vid cam supports true 16:9. Some will do 16:9 but it just cuts off the top and bottom, reducing the amount of footage you can actually capture. _________________

16:9 plays perfectly fine on a 4:3 television if the footage is captured, edited and exported in that aspect ratio. If the widescreen isn't done natively, though, I'd kiss it off. _________________ facebook.com/TheLiquidPlayground
