|
|
Wanting to make a quick and easy rail for this weekend. My Lowes/Home Depot can only order Trex. They don't keep any in stock.
Besides PVC(I have plenty but want a different surface) what can I put on the top of the rail that will rail easier than the bare wood from the 2x4?
Any suggestions would be fantastic.
TIA |

Theres a couple types of trex at my home depot, but im not sure which one to buy. theres gray stuff with lines in it running parallel to the board. then theres stuff that seems just smooth thats brown. what kind do you usually make rails out of? |

what we used last summer for a box like skateforce's, is that wall tile stuff, its nice and slick when when ad we have fins on and never caught.i think me and Skate252 are talking bout the same thing cuz we bought like 2 sheets for like 22 or something like that. all we did was just nail it down with small tiny nails in symetrical places and it worked really well. i would suggest that over anything else cuz i think lowes and home depot will have it no matter what, and its cheap and it works really well, you can also pick out the design the "tile surface" you what it to look like lol. but thats just my personal opinion. |
