Apparently EA is making a skate game to rival the Tony Hawk games. It's supposed to be allllllll sorts of realistic. No ollieing busses, or natas spinning on peoples heads, or skateboarding gorrilas with dynomite sticking out of their ass or whatever the tony hawk crap has been doing lately Neutral

. You control each foot with the analog sticks, no trick looks the same twice. The pro's in it are people like Chris Cole, Rob D., Jerry Hsu... some sick riders it looks like. Very Happy

Anyone heard of this?

I've heard of it. Sounds like its going to be nice. I like the more realistic approach. I think this is the same game that was on Rob and Big. If I recall, he was playing it in the episode and said he really liked it, if that means anything. It looked pretty sweet though.

Also, I saw a picture or Jerry Hsu's game model and its looks crazy real. Unfortunately I dont have a 360 or ps3, so i wont be playing it for a while.

ya they had an episode on rob and big about it, i think its gonna come out pretty soon, within a few months, should kill tony hawks games. Shocked

Greg T, Same here, i'm still rockin a ps2. I've never been big on video games in general but skate games are unreasonably fun to me haha. I'm thinking of getting a 360 just for EA's Skate and a few other games. I'm glad EA is taking the consideration of real skateboarders out there who don't think aliens skating on mars with jetpacks and flamethrowers are breathtaking. It will be a nice change.

I hear it's coming out in like March Smile

Slapdown, same. i still have a ps2. but EA pretty much sucks at making anything. they pretty much ruined all the NCAA football and madden games. but i have to say that i like SSX.
