whats every ones plans when you get out of high school/ college/ or just the future?

and if you've already began the career , hows it going so far?
and do you think wakeskatings still going to be in your life then?

i made this thread becuase i started a career project in a class of mine,
and really relized what career i could do, give my full potential in, and
probably wanna stay with for the rest of my life..

im hoping to join liquid force, hyperlite or any other major watersports company with in the next few years, as either an advertising agent, or board design and graphing. art work's been a Huge impact in my life and for the past years wakeskating and general waterspots have been my passion for art work. and designing new boards has been a project ive been doing for a while to. and best of all, i no working for a company such as LF is really somthing i can see my self doing, especialy ever since the invention of the wakeskate , wakesurf board, and more things comming out in watersports in the future i doubt they'd be going out of buisness any time soon. But i no some jobs dont always work out so ive got plenty of jobs to fall back on just in case. Smile

some advice or constructive critisium is always good.

coon, You and i have similar plans. Smile

I have always been an artist. It's just been a big part of my life since drawing on the walls with crayons. For a few years now, though, i've been working a lot more with actual graphic design and filmmaking (both of which are most definitely art). Filmmaking, editing mostly, is something i immediately caught on to. It's become such a big part of my life that almost everything seen through my eyes becomes a vision i incorporate into films. ANYwho, after school i plan on going to the College of Santa Fe, and majoring in Film and Visual Arts (graphic design.) After that i plan on editing and producing wakeskate and skateboard videos; As well as doing Graphic Design when needed. Later on down the road i hope to either open up a shop or continue making skateboards under Rise, and hopefully someday some wakeskates as well. I've already started doing freelance graphic design with a few small projects. And that's been pretty fun Smile

I'm sure not all of this will go as planned, but that's a general idea i suppose. Birthday

I'm applying to a number of dental schools this coming summer.

My first choice is Nova Southeastern, in Ft. Lauderdale, for more than the obvious reasons.

So, in five years or so look me up and i'll hook you up with a set of grillz or other oral accessories of equal baller-value.

Ohh, pirate...that's enough reason to stay as far away from AZ as humanly possible. You might want to re-evaluate your elements of persuasion...

Very Happy Wink (those emoticons mean JK, LOL)

going pretty well... i've had about 6 jobs since i got out of school.. been in real estate the past 9-10 years.. married w/ a 2 year old and life constatly challenging on every aspect... kids are amazing and
the only advice that i could give anyone is figure out what you love to do and find an occupation in that area.... i can't say that i've done that... other than that... you young guys/gals start streching a lot now it will pay off 10 fold when you are 35 and still wanna ride

wakeskating is definately a part of my life.. and getting to go out and ride feels like a great privilege..

if your living w/ your parents... thank them today...if your not, thank them anyway
good luck to all of you
