wakemitch, i agree about the blandness, but its hard to find good mexican here. i was in cali a few weeks ago and it was mexican food heaven

Rock City Ryda, eat at freebirds. way better and chipotle is owned by mcdonalds which is reason enough for me to never eat there. there are several in dallas.

One of the few good things about living in DFW is the wide selection of Tex-mex; I can always hit Chuy's if I need a good fix, and there's plenty of other options if I can't make it down there. Chipotle isn't that bad, but I can usually find better.

Rock City Ryda, I am also sorry you're stuck there in BCS, but probably for different reasons than my man TTUFAN24. I did my 4 years down there, and haven't been back much since.

If you guys want mexican food, you cant go to a fast food chain or anything. It has to be some family owned mexican restraunt where the cooks are fresher than the food.

McDonald's Corporation used to own a majority interest in Chipotle. Full divestment was completed in October of 2006.

I like them better than freebirds, their meat has more flavor. Get one without the beans and its even better.

This friend of mine from work was trying to take advantage of thier free burrtio day on vallentines, if you buy a gift card you get a free burrito. He bought like 20 of them but he didn't realise you only had TWO days to cash in on the free ones Laughing
