Well...yesterday was the last day of the season. There was snow on rooftops and temperatures in the low 30's all day. The water gives you the worst ice cream headache after every fall. My new wife tuff'd it out under two blankets to take the shots. We could've kept going for a few days yet but you gotta look out for the boat, nights that are in the 20's consecutively are no good for your engine block. So, that's that, JamesBoardr, see you soon brotha.

The problem is with the boats. Now that's consistently cold at night (and during the day) that water could freeze in there and ruin it.

yah i rode one time in the spring water was 37 degrees and there were ice chunks hitting my board, in northern minnesota, the ice on the lakes gets so thick they drive semis, trucks and snowplows on them, so you can imagine how long the ice takes to melt

Went Skatin TODAY. Had to walk through about a hundred yards of knee high snow to the river bank with the winch. It was sunny but still only 29 degrees. Nothing like skating when the snow is blinding you, I almost had to wear my snowboard goggles. If skatefilly gets his shiit together we'll have a couple pics up.
