|
Just wondering if anyone has been winching in a creek? My friend has a creek behind his house and once we get our winch done we were thinking about first heading down there since we don't know any great spots yet. The water is not deep at all tho probably 3 and half feet at deepest, but if you fall you hit sand so it wouldn't hurt to bad . I will go down there and get some pictures tomarrow. |

CrzyTexan, I have before. It's pretty fun. I've even put a rail into a really narrow creek... it was so narrow that you could fall onto dry land if you fell weird off the rail . 3ft is more than enough... shallow water has never really been a problem, you just have to know how to fall right. have fun with it, and post pics _________________ integrity-wake.com | chriscut.com |

the flat rail at NCC4 was in less than two feet of water. i scratched up my back a little bit, but it was worth it.
how narrow is the creek? |

If you're hitting rails..Be careful on shuv out tricks in shallow water, Ive gone to stomp a couple tricks off my incline in shallow water and landed wrong on the ankle from not catching right but other than that, yeah you might scratch your back up a little |

i have a creek about 50 feet from my bedroom im actually looking at it right now. its about 1 foot deep maybe 2 in the deeper spots and is about 50 yards long its perfect for trying little rail tricks and stuff. its really mucky so it doesnt hurt when u fall u just slide or stick into the mud. its dirty but awesome. _________________ warning: use safety goggles when putting head in saw |

you dont need 3 feet of water. look at the general photos in the media center and there is my buddy in 3.5 inches of water on a low water crossing last January. it really does scrape up the bottom of the board if theres concrete below. _________________ Men who believe absurdities will commit atrocities-Voltaire |
