Is there anywhere good to Winch in Knoxville?

I'm in the process of finishing up my winch but I've been scoping out spots for a while now. There are some pretty good spots around UT but there are a bunch of nice coves out in the Farragut area. There is a small lake that I think was a quary out by Chapman highway that I saw on google earth that looks amazing. Considering how close we are to Ft. Loudon lake you shouldn't have any problems finding spots.

Haha, yeah, i actually live on Ft. Loudon.
And my cove is amazing for wakeskating.
But i was thinking more along the lines of places to winch.
Like urban areas with step downs and stuff.

yeah .... i know of a few.....and places to put my rail......

and i might dig a winch trench at my house but desil is sooo expensive i cant afford it yet.....

its more about places u wont get busted.......haha

That's sick! I have a place like that in the back of my cove. There SO much room, and it's all like 3-4 feet deep, and it's always butter. It's perfect! Very Happy

I know several people in ATL who are definitely down for a road trip. We need some good drops or ledges. Anyone have any spots in mind? We have been all over ATL and are finding new shizzle everyday. I'm always open to travelin though. There's some decent spots over near my stomping ground in the Boro, TN. PM me if any of you guys want to get together.

yeah. I need to get the hell off that skate. I'm bad with names but I'm sure I'de recognize you. I met a ton of people that weekend. And did some drinking and driving a winch. lol. good times.

iWinch, um u seemed to be the only one there that could drive the winch....lol...

i had the painted LF skate and long blonde hair......i made that wakeskate knecklace for best trick.....

bt371, well i'm sure we could find some, we're building a rail right now that's going to be put in the lake if anyone is down for a boat session with me in morristown.

also i live in a private subdivision, lochmere, and we have this HUGE ass private pond(lake?) it IS the perfect winch spot, it is butter even when the wind is like 30 mph. plus there's so much room to throw in a rail or a box in the larger end. it would provide a ton of ride time also.

it could be a small bust factor or none at all, i'm planning on talking to the owner of our subdivision right now.

so if i can get someone to bring a winch we can get alot of people here and definitely have an all day wakeskate session/get toghter.

let me know! i'll try to get pics of the pond in a few days!
