Hey,

Does any know what the real size of last years (2006) Straightline Viper rope length is?

http://www.boardstop.com/product_info.php?products_id=702&ref=35

On some sites it says a a 60 ft main with 3 x 5ft sections.

Some say a 60 ft main with a 5ft and a 10ft takeoff.

And some say a 55ft main with 4 x 5ft takeoffs!!!!

Haha which one is it?

I was hoping someone who owns one of last years models could tell me, as I was looking at buying one and I'm hoping it is the 55 main one as I was looking for a short rope (And already have a 60 + 3x5fts)

Thanks

Ronin, DOES IT REALLY MATTER ? here let me break it down

5x3=15 + 60= 75
10+5=15 +60= 75
5x4=20 + 55= ????????? you guessed it 75.

Yes it does because I want a 55ft main preferably.

I already have a 60+5+5+5=75

So I don't need another one the same length.

And for changeability on rope length some are not as appealling.

I made it more clear now so its not as confusing. Very Happy

I ride behind a 1986 malibu skier at about 20 give or take MPH. (I plan on buying a seadoo within the next year or two as well)

The distance from wake to wake just seems huge! haha. I can clear wake to wake but not everytime. And when I watch other peoples videos and compare the distance from wake to wake compared to mine, mine seems much bigger. Mabye its just in my head though. haha Laughing

Ronin, NO its not in your head, Its your speed. start going at least 22 for w2w stuff, I meen bear minimum................... 23 is probably the best w2w speed out there. When you speed up your wake will narrow out alot.

Make sure your edging all the way through the wake........ And if you have only been riding for like a couple of months dont stress it....... Thats why the people you see in video's are in Videos.
