I thought I might get better feedback here than at wakeworld.

Anyways I'm about 5'10 and 145 lbs. Currently I ride a scape and I dont like it at all. What would be a good skate for me? Integrity, omen and distortion all look like really good shapes but im not too sure.

Thanks.

around 41" should be a good size for you. all three of those boards are going to ride different. ive ridden the integrity and omen and to me i prefer the integrity, but thats me. i prefer the concave of the integrity vs. the omen and also the integrity has a smoother ride to me, the 5 stage of the omen tends to drag a little. both boards have reshapeable rails with is a huge plus. you can customize each board to ride to your desire. the omen is a bit heavier than the integrity which i liked, but the integrity isnt too light.

by the way. i wasnt trying to be mean on wakeworld, but it did come out that way.

here a suggestion just a smart choice if you havent really riden different boards go on ebay. you can find liquid force armadas and controls which are great boards i ride controls getting ready to switch to a bi-level or 5 stage soon just cause ive been riding control so long and want try something new.

you can get the control for like 119 shipped its a good deal brand new check it go to ebay search wakeskate

just my advice instead of spending close to 300 for integerity or omen for a learning board

There was a guy selling last year's LF boards in the classifieds for cheap if you want one of those. Don't know if he is still selling them though.

alot of ppl dont know how to ride em too eh? A 5 stage rocker is the perfect thing to my riding style, i have no skateboarding background either...

too everyone - 5 stage is not a gimmick, its just different and like ppl say from experience, find something that catches your eye, if you dont like it, well you learned that doesnt work.

3 - STAGE = GIMMICK! (just wanted to say that haha)

Laughing have a good evening

i love my impulse from LF. its def their best board except maybe reeds model which i havnt tried. I find it spins well. If u can still find it it wont be too exspensive like 160 or so.

hi steezwhiz (great name, by the way),

I still fully stand behind what I said on wakeworld. Thinking back to when i was able to try some new boards, a few of the new boards were just a lot of fun to ride. I still remember how it felt to ride that bi-level for the first time. So on that note, a new board could very well make your riding experience more fun. Of course, concave and kicktails are there to help your riding when it comes to balance, leverage and things of that nature. But one thing a new board can't replace is technique. Honestly, a solid rider will be able to pop the crap out of flat decks and concaves alike without excuse.

DirtyCracker, you do realize that Rocker has nothing to do with flat deck or concave right ????

SkateForce, I'm not going to get into it with you, I dont really care that much................ I'm not in the buisness of smashing riders and company's that are trying to make it....................

DirtyCracker, I to am getting a 5-stage bi-level, the Union.. Is that what you are getting? I ride an Omen Revolt now and have had flats, concave's, woods, composites and a sweet Cassette bi-level and have loved all of them. As far as pop and 5-stage relate, in my opinion it has less to do with the hydrodynamics and the like, and more to do with how you situate your feet. If you prefer a more skate like pivot from the rear of your board, the 5-stage is a mega plus when you get used to the feel. If you prefer trampoline style ollie (more off your belly) the 3-stage is a plus. Heighth is all in the rider and/or wake. Idea
