Hokay I don't have feul, so I' not sure what you're talking about.Jesse, I love street plants, sad plants, bonelesses and back side bonelesses. Razz Haha you're going way back.

The trick I am refering to,"the inverted handplant"; was in a waterski magazine before wakeboarding was ever conceived. Back in the days of kneeboarding. Mario Fossa, Lance Walker are a few names that ring a bell.

Anyway the article was about a new trick in kneeboarding, and there was also a sequence shot to go with it. So sick. This guy cut in hard towards the wake, and instead of doing a wake roll.............he rolls off the wake and the board is now going over his head; but as he leaves the wake he reahes his arm out and drags his hand in the water to prevent the roll and pull himself back, when done correctly........returning himself to his knees on the other side of the wake.

It was such a rad trick. If anyone could find this article and post it to show the sequence shot it is hellasick.

haha drive is the cheesiest show. The people they interview and some of the stuff he does is cool but the commentary sucks. Don't get all phisophical and shizzle about skateboarding it just makes you sound stupid.

che blanc, why thanks. I'm sorry I don't want to hear about how skateboarding feeds your soul and the wood beneath your feet connects you with nature(puking emoticon). That doesn't mean that I'm not in agreement with what he says. I just think that those that skateboard already understand and those that don't never will( or at least not from a TV show).

I know that skateboarding is an inherently esoteric form of expression, but just because it's something that a lot of people don't get, don't you think there's anyone out there that likes to hear that other people feel just as passionately for the same thing that they love?

I love it when skaters act like they hate skating.

I'm not even a hardcore skateboarder, but I get the same feeling when I wakeskate, skateboard, or surf. Boardriding puts me in another place, I got as stoked hearing Aaron Reed talk about wakeskating in Adrift as I did to see him stick a back tail.

And I guess it comes down to "you don't have to watch it."

Inverted handplant sounds like something i have to talk someone else in the boat into trying. cool just a little out there. possible but tough.

Drive is the greatest show ive ever seen, by far.
I grew up a old school Mike V fan, well before this show. I was so pumped to learn more about the guy, then i was like, huh? he has feelings? weird. haha

he clowns new school skaters with old crazy tricks too. he skates ANY terrain and ruins its. Period. you never see him bitching about bad pavement or a junk ramp.

Id love to see him wakeskate. He would probally learn to slash huge and actually learn "great style" before he went out and tried a Switch nollie 540 heel flip wake to wake. He rides for himself and what he does is what he wants to do. theres not too much of that around anymore.
.
It's great when chet childress on a fuel tv commercial says "Stop counting the stairs and just skate. BRO." hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

The kids at my shop hate mike v. It's pretty interesting because I've never really seen anything like that before...

che blanc, I don't even know where to start. First off I want to say that I can't believe that people believe that Drive is the best show on TV. I don't even think it's the best show on fuel. I'm having trouble understanding what people see in the show. Have you even seen it che blanc??? Now the show isn't that bad by itself. Seeing skateboarding in Africa and amputees skateboarding is very cool but the commentary is just ridiculous. Vallely sounds retarded. You may or may not agree with that but you sure can't call it ignorant.

Sure it's nice to know that others feel the same way about something as you do but I don't think this tv show is what does it, just hang around others who skateboard and you'll see it.

It's very much a love hate relationship. I know many people who have sworn to never skate again but were back on the board in a week. that's just the way it is.

I think it's much more amusing how skaters hate other skaters. At a city counsil meeting to get a skatepark put into our city a skater got up and told the council that building a skatepark is better then getting more police officers because if you get more police you have to spend more on doughnut shops. fiznackling skater:/
