taking foam off o hypes and butter boards

has anyone takin the foam off of the hyperlite concave or the butter boards and replaced it with griptape?

i specificaly have the new butter wakeskate because i like how its made like a hype but has the concave of the cassette, i was wondering if anyone has takin the foam of an added griptape.

how does the change feel?

wake-till-i-die I kno Zak Stone took the foam of his gate and put on grip, i havent talked to him lately but if your ever @ OWC he works there so you could talk to him.

I would think that a heat gun (or perhaps even a hair dryer) and some lighter fluid/goo-gone would do the trick on the foam and sticky residue.
By the way, I will be getting a new Butter skate in the next few weeks myself... Shall be good times.

yeah i go to 0-dub alot i saw that gate you were talking about.

do you go to o-dub alot ?
ive been wanting to ride my butter but i tore my meniscus in my knee

wake-till-i-die Ya I go to o-dub all the time i just got a season pass Sunday so i will be there like the rest of the week and normally i go on weekends on like sundays.
