Saw these Circa 99's at pacsun over christmas break and never got around to posting a thread about it. On the sides and the toe where the green pattern is, there is a mesh like material.

you can wakeskate in any shoes....in fact, you dont even need shoes which i highly DO NOT recommend, cut my foot open trying it. |

| xXxcaliwakeskaterxXx, i rode byerly 2s all last year. i hated them. the sole wore out really quick and the shoe is stiff and not very comfortable (compared to mesh dvs and lakai). they are super light and dont absorb water but i just wasnt happy with them. |

| yea i noticed that. i walked in them for a few minutes. they were really stiff, and im not really looking forward to wakeskating in them. they just sit in my drawer. the old globes i used were like sponges and had to sit in the sun for about 8 hours just to dry, not to mention their smell. i might just get another pair of nike sb's |

I think pretty much any shoe is going to take awhile to dry. Mesh will help with that a little bit...but most of the good shoes still have leather and other places where it won't dry as fast. I always put a fan on my shoes. They dry a lot faster that way, and hopefully by doing that, I can avoid that "mad" stinky shoe syndrome for awhile. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |
