OK, maybe that's alittle cheezy, but you get the idea! Not the best five albums, just the ones that really mattered to you at a certain time...

In no particular order:

Juliana Hatfield - Become what you are
Liz Phair - Whip smart
The Smiths - the Smiths
Sleater-Kinney - The hot rock
le Tigre - le Tigre

My albums, and why...

1. Sublime - 40oz to Freedom (reason I am doing what I do)

2. John Frusciante - To Record Only Water for 10 Days (poorly recorded music can still rock, with a deeper message than most other clean albums)

3. Pink Floyd - The Wall (a sonic masterpiece)

4. Slightly Stoopid - Acoustic Roots (a live performance, all 1 take, and nearly flawless)

5. Neil Young - Greatest Hits (the last soulful singer in rock, plus REAL four part harmonies)

who says lake tarpon is the only one? Their new album is good, but not as nearly good as some of their older releases...
