sick those are lookin pretty sweet.... im gald they put a spool guard on next years model... with the wrong rope you could stall your engine by throwing way too much water and sand on the exhaust.

7hp with an option for a 9hp. its about the same weight. we dropped the spool down a bit so the line is coming straight off of the spool. because of that we took out some of the metal on the bottom to make room for the spool. thats why its about the same weight.

the 06 and the 07 will be for sale this year. the 06 will be the same price of $1995. the 07 will be $2195. i dont now how much it will be for the 9hp yet, but you can order either one. we are producing both of them already. keep an eye out, our boards will be comin out very soon.

I thought they were all 6.5 hp. Did/do they come with torq-a-verters? Rope?

they have a torq-converter with an automatic trasmission with gears at 1/90 and 1/1. they come with 600ft of line, but the handle does not come with them. we are talking to a couple of companies about using their handles though.

the handle comes with the optional tow package which includes wheels also. there are different types of wheels. fatter ones for softer ground like the beach. the white one is the new snow grinch and is also available. the difference between the regular grinch and the snow grinch is the gearing in the transmission.

new model looks good, but not too practicle. We carry mine everywhere, getting over fences, through ditches and stuff. It's hard enough to carry with the exposed spindle and hand holds. This looks near on impossible to carry

kento911, what would be a more reasonable price? it seems pretty fair to me.
frame 200
engine 300
rope 120
wheels 20
axel 30
pillow block bearings 40
sprocket w/hub 60
torque converter 200
paint 20
fairlead 25
spool 85
disk brake assembly 70
chain 30
assembly labor (frame and putting it together) at 70 hr x 4 hrs(at least 4hrs if not more) 240
total 1440
most of those prices are close guesses from what ive seen while I was looking for parts.
cost for having your own winch.... priceless

big_dee45, yeah and i understand that, but its not like hes buying them in the 1000's or even the 100's. also, now that i think about it, their frame could cost a lot more to construct than 200 dollars. there's also marketing and advertising costs, and i'm sure i didnt cover all the costs, there are probably more in there as well.
