I really want to see this flick. I personally enjoyed "december" as well. There isn't any serious shredding, but it's just a fun travel movie...and they do some hard booting, which was hilarious! But travis parker is one of my favorite riders becuase of his board control and his attitude...
Plus, the box doubled as sweet corey smith art.
Johnny utah, your avatar keeps freaking me out! That dude (I forgot his name..he's a director) looks so much like charles manson in that picture, it's ridiculous. Charles manson, the sailor... _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

HAHAHAHAH.....it's Vincent Gallo.
He is that sha-it. I heard a rumour that Vincent is, in fact, playing Manson in an up-comming film. Yikes!
Travis Parker is a sick rider and is funny without being lame or a try-hard. I got to hang out with Jussi Oksanen in Japan a fair bit, and he is the nicest snowboarder with the best attitude anywhere. He still hasen't done his maditory service in the Finnish army. He might be too old for that. most Fins come to america to snowboard and get out of military service. There are no Fins in this movie. WHY AM I MENTIONING THIS...? I just wanted to mention Jussi. _________________ Life's Kredo = "When the snake falls in love with the spagetti it's time to buy a new hat." & "I guess I need to whiskey up these corn flakes..and heroin up this Orange Juice." |

it's OK (for mentioning jussi). Afterbang was a huge impact on me. It just seemed like other videos were all about bangers or whatever else you want to call them, where as afterbang was a little bit more fun. They not only had incredible riding, but they had fun, small stuff that anyone could relate and aspire to. board control--it's as simple as that! And the soundtrack kicked freaking ass, too.
i heart air blaster.
yes, vincent gallo. i was watching this entertainment show and I think mr. ebert totally hated the brown bunny, and the two of them had this sort of "burn match". like "you're fat" said vincent gallo, while mr ebert said "yes, but someday I'll be thin, where as you will always suck" and blah blah blah. mr. ebert totally owned mr gallo at the end of that whole thing, IMO. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

HAHAHAH...Gallo is such a dick. he rips on everyone, it's great!
As for snowboard movies, below are, in my opinion, the best snowboard movies in order of awesomeness (their impact on my life).
Upping the Ante - (In my opinion, best snowboard movie ever. New School snowboarding at its' best. Introduction of Peter Line. Standout parts = Todd Schlosser. The New school era of snowboarding was a great time in my life).
Hard Hungry Homeless - (First real snowboard movie I got into. Made me love Jeff Brushie).
Project 6 - (All about Jamie Lynn. The reason Jamie Lynn rocks)
Afterbang - (All reasons mentioned above. Made snowboarding fun again and not lame. Jussi cab 1080s).
Sexual Chocolate - (Best soundtrack of any snowboard movie. Introduced Company/Team mini-parts).
Melt Down Project - (Rodeos. Dead Kennedys)
TB3 - (Peter Line's part).
Resistance - (First Forum Video. JP Walker)
Whiskey Movies - (This got me through High School)
TB2 - (Terje)

I just think the company is fun....like really effing fun. The attitude and I guess that image (fun) is what draws me to it. originally, I thought it was completely dumb to make a leash with the leg bag, and then charge 50 or 60 dollars for it, because leashes were useless and 60.00 is a really g-damn expensive joke. But now with the leg bags...they're flair, but whatever. I don't mind them anymore, now that they're not leashes and you could put a key or a coffee bean in them.
So yes, I own many an item with that stupid (but not really) looking pill graphic on it.
I do want to look into the union airblaster model bindings...I freaking love neon!!! And union makes hot shizzle...
Wait, that's another reason I love air blaster! They helped make neon socially acceptable...neon warms my heart and brings a twinkle to my eye...whether it be on a skate graphic or my bright yellow "blast air" t-shirt with a shilouette of damien sanders doing a sweet backflip...yes, neon is fine. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

Mario....hahahah
If you want a good laugh, next time me, you and Garry are together, we can break out the old school snowboard photo collection. Talk about neon and flair!!!!! We've got some old school sha-it!!!
Blunt magazine was my favorite. I had a Kemper Freestyle 155.
In the new school days, we had shaved down decks with custom inserts. Garry had a radiculous 28 inch stance with no high backs.....it was tight!
oh the glory days........ _________________ Life's Kredo = "When the snake falls in love with the spagetti it's time to buy a new hat." & "I guess I need to whiskey up these corn flakes..and heroin up this Orange Juice." |
