1. What are the specs on that lens?
2. What would you use the cash for?... a lens?
Right now i'd say go with the lens.

| I'd go for whichever is worth the higher dollar value. If you for some reason don't like the lens, you can sell it and buy a different lens or whatever you need/want.

| So, how much cash were you offered? More than what the lens is worth? If so, get the cash, purchase the lens at closeout discount somewhere online and toss in some filters or other fun stuff. That's what I'd do...eventhough I probably should use the cash to pay down some of my other bills...such as the Manfrotto Tripod I just HAD to have but didn't have the cash at the time so I threw it on my credit card.

| I'd go for the lens then. Besides, sometimes you might be on the injured list and then you'll have that to film others with.
