depeds on the carpet. if its carpet that has long fibres (like the stuff you'd have at home) then yeah, definitely no bueno. but if its industrial type of carpeting that has really short and thick kind of fiber, then it'd be fine.

You can see it in Keith's eyes, he's like "Those boots are ugly as hell".

It's really gnarly because they look like a step-in set up. For me, they lack "shelf appeal" (I know, function is just as important, but you won't feel badass if you don't look badass...or that's just my saying...), but regardless, it will be interesting to see where this closed toe trend goes.
It will also be interesting to watch where ronix goes throughout the season.

Those remind me a lot of snowboard boots. How is the weight with those? Like are they much heavier?

yep. it'll definitely be interesting to see how Ronix does. my gut feeling says that they'll do quite well, especially considering the amount of buzz there is online about it. im actually excited to see something like this happen, because it just doesnt happen every day, and i think this has some potential behind it. from what ive heard recently, it sounds like the company is gonna be run a bit differently, and in a cool way.

Personally.. i like the boots. I think the closed toe trend will pick up and at least half the boots produced will be closed toe. but they will have to keep some open toed boots for people with fat feet. (me ) All the closed toe boots ive ridden are much more narrow than open toed. I have 06 XL Parks binding and theyre a mile too long for me, but my feet are so wide i have to have them so they wont be crushed.. ive never had a boot that really fit me

Yeah scott, I totally agree. While I may not buy anything, it's kind of exciting to see a new company with such a buzz come in and change things up. For me, the last time a new, exciting company dropped was probably 2004. So it will be fun to watch, for sure.
