| ok so im tryin to get into photography and i need a camera that take really clear and crisp photos... was thinkin abt a cannon eos 1d anyone had any experience with it? or maybe recommend some others thanks! |

| the 1d is an amazing camera. Not the camera people generally start off with, there is a huge learning curve with a camera like that. You may be better off with a 20/30D or rebel xt |

Huge second. You should get lower noise at high ISO's with the 20D or 30D too. Not to mention the 4.3 to 8.3 megapixel difference between the 1D and the 20D/30D.
Also I should add that buying a cheaper body and expensive lens' will give you better images than an expensive body and cheap lens'. DRAGON88, exactly, the lens is the most important part.
If you dont mind not being able to take crazy sequences go for the Rebel. If you got the $$ go for the 30D... I love that Camera  _________________
