Hey,
The 2006 LF Armada or the 2005 Hyperlite Byerly?
Which board do you like better and why? Or why you don't like it. And which board do you believe to be better.
Please only respond if you have ridden or know someone closely who has ridden either of these boards. And please only discuss these boards.
Thanks! |

I've got the Armada and have ridden it all summer. It's nothing shy of wonderful. The concave/rocker/fin setup are top notch. The board is weighted perfectly and the foam deck is grippy and durable. The pop is also wicked smooth. I'd be interested to see someone compare and contrast the two boards but at the same time I'd be surprised if the byerly came out on top. _________________ -Jim |

| I've rode the 05 Byerly quite a bit, its pretty nice...i like my 06' grubb better. but the byerly is really good for lip tricks and stuff out in the flats but not the best for wake to wake>>>thats my 2 cents>> dont know anything about the armada...havent steped foot on it~ i've just heard its kinda light and gets away from you a lot^ |

if the armada is anything like the butter board (which i think it is) its poop. WAY too light, sharp edges suck, foam sucks. too narrow. i rode my friends bare foot a little boozed up and almost killed myself.
Hype 05 byerly. A little heavier, rides still like a wakeboard but not as bad as the armada (butter) nicer for w2w's, tolerable when its gripped and weighted.
ride wood. its alive. _________________ Never, never, never, never give up
