I'm out like 3-5 dfays with a ear infection. It sucks because the water is butter, and it hurts like a beach. Anyone do anthing to prevent this. I was thinking that listning to a mp3 might help.

get swimmers ear, its in a little bottle and put it in ur ears every night after being on the water, it dries out the water in your ears which causes that.

I got ear infections 2 years straight. Well last year I blew my eardrum, not severely though. I haven't had a problem this year but whenever I get water in my ears, I shake it out right away.

Get some of those soft wax ear plugs. They keep out the water really well and you won't blow your ear drum out. I was getting infections a lot until I started wearing plugs. It's better to take a sec and throw in some plugs that sit out for days from an infection or weeks from a blown drum.

You can remember to put your shoes on every time. Remember to throw in the plugs. Smile

I always wear a helmet with ear covers (prevents water from shooting in) and I haven't had any problems with the ears and it feels a lot better when you catch an edge and slam your head into the water. Those wax plugs sound like a great idea just for the ears though.

I have the same thing and I tried using the wax ear plugs but I cant stand them the bother my riding which is weird. And the doctor told me I get them alot because I take a shower or swim before I go to bed alot of the time and the water just sits in there.

I have had it a few times this year. It sucks for sure. Would a waterproof mp3 player help with the ear phones?
